Waking early in Stellenbosch we were somewhat surprised to see that the sun had not managed to come out and the clouds were firmly in charge, however, a top quality breakfast at the hotel meant that we were ready for the day and a return to Cape Town for the last time on this trip.

Our first stop was to drop our bags at the hotel, and then down to the canal district for a change to Stand Up Paddleboard around the marina. It didn't take long for the sedate paddling to become all out piratical warfare, and the boys enjoyed the chance to jump into the water and to avoid the worst of the heat.

A short pitstop for lunch recharged our batteries, and after checking in we headed back to the local Padel courts for our second tournament of the week, no quarter was given with Brook and Henry E eventually ending up as the winners.

The evening sunshine provided a fitting backdrop to our last meals and after a bit of last minute shopping the boys settled in to partake of the finest that Cape Town has to offer.

An early start beckons tomorrow as we head to the airport to begin our journey home with many happy memories made.
